There are websites which you may come across for instance – example.com, they provide free ebooks and interesting utilities free of cost. But this offer requires giving away your email address and the download links will be forwarded to you over email.
These website clearly state in their policies that your email address won’t be sold to any third parties. But still you don’t feel like sharing your email with a website about which you have never heard before. What will you do in such a case ?
Is it that the offer is actually skipped by you just because you fear the spams which might hit your Inbox? Well, you should stop worrying as now you can get disposable email addresses which automatically expire after few days or hours.
A few websites are there which provide you with email address which is disposable but among my favourite ones is www.10minutemail.com. You just have to visit the site and they will provide you a temporary email address which can be used in place of your email address. Replying to a mail or forwarding is also possible with such temporary email address.
Yes what you are thinking is absolutely right. This email address will auto-destruct after 10 minutes. These email providers often switch the email domain names. For example one day you will be provided an email such as [email protected], the other day it could be [email protected]. This prevents the administrators of the forums from blocking members who are using temporary email address.
Disposable Email Addresses are not enough everytime
Email addresses which are disposable can be used while you fill forms online for surveys, comments, registration etc. but these email addresses can not be used for public websites such as twitter as these email addresses being disposable expire after some time limit.
But still a couple of options are there with you.

Whspr.me is also available on web which turns your email address into a web form. You can be reached by anyone over email simply by writing email in that form. The email form can be manually deleted anytime or auto expiry can be set for “n” days.
The settings can be checked if a Google Account is there with you such that it provides facility to people for connecting through email without showing them the email. Finally the common method in all – an image of your email address can be created using labelgen or Facebook. By this mostly the spam bots are unable to notice your email address
which which can be easily read by human eye, they don’t even require solving complex CAPTCHAs.
