When plenty of tabs are opened in the browser, there will be some point of time when will be confused regarding opening the correct tab that is required. Especially for web developers, masters and online workers whose work relates to multiple tab opening at a particular time. I had previously mentioned about extensions for managing tabs inside Google Chrome. Today I found – “Tab Zolo” an extension for chrome which helps in focusing on single tab. For example, if ten tabs have been opened on your browser and only five of them are in use and rest are not in use. Mostly these unused tabs are not closed and keep annoying.
Tab Zolo provides you freedom from these things. Regardless of the number of tabs that have been opened, you can focus on the tab of your requirement. Tab Zolo can be downloaded from the web store of Chrome using the given link. Once the installation has been done, the “tz” icon will appear on your browser in the corner of top right. You may now use the extension. When you click that icon all the tabs and other browser windows will disappear leaving your current tab only. So whenever you need to focus, you need to switch to that tab where you want to work and then click the icon of Tab Zolo.
With the Tab Zolo extension switched on, on your browser, you will not be allowed to open any new window or tab on your browser. You can only work on the tab that has been selected. Once done, you just have to click the tz icon and all your tabs will be back just in a second. This will help in retaining focus of developers, writers and online workers to their work. While reading an article without any sort of distraction this option will be helpful. Extensions such as Text Mode can also be used for preventing distractions while you read.
Even if it looks simple, it will help you in focusing on a particular job and thus will also increase the productivity.
